Hi @affectionatebadger8388, thank you for sharing.
That sounds really exhausting having to constantly suppress that frustration and anger, especially when it feels like it’s building up every day with no outlet.
It’s completely human to feel intense anger when you feel controlled or like your boundaries aren’t being respected. The fact that you’re holding it in rather than acting on it shows a lot of self-awareness and self-control, even if it doesn’t feel that way.
Here’s something worth thinking about.. the anger itself isn’t the problem, it’s more about finding a healthy and appropriate way to process it so it doesn’t keep building up inside you. Some people find it helpful to have a physical outlet like exercise, a private space to just let themselves feel the frustration without judgment or write things down.
The harder question is whether there’s any way to have an honest conversation with your mother about how you’re feeling and how to possibly work on it, not in the heat of the moment, but at a calmer time. Sometimes parents don’t realise the impact their behaviour is having…
Lastly, I want to remind you that killing someone is illegal and there are definitely legal consequences that you will have to face, which I do not wish to see you get involved in.
