Something might be wrong with me

I just would like some advice for my anger issue or perhaps something else which could be underlying.

I yelled at my youngest sibling due to them calling me deaf (I thought they were talking to my middle sibling so I kinda ignored it but tbh I should have asked if they were talking to me) and giggling at me because of me sounding slightly loud because of losing 80 dollars due to forgetting to unsubscribe to a subscription a website gave me. And after that she rarely talks to me and listed to the middle sibling (I am the oldest) that they didn’t like me because of what I said above and having to say bruh everytime she says something when literally I have no idea what else to say and calls me by childish because I am an adult to play with toys and that I kept getting angry so easily. My middle sibling said I needed a therapist as well because not only do I get easily unhinged from what is listed above but I kept making short tiny screams to like embarrassing moments I had and I think I should find ways other than to make those sounds.

My friend (We’ve been friends for 8 years) even said that whenever I get frustrated I use vulgar and be really mean to them as well (the frustration came from a random fear of them ditching me for someone else EVEN if they reassured me they wouldn’t.)

And nowadays it’s kinda getting hard to remember where I place my things even after a few seconds (e.g. having to be late for school because I misplaced my wallet and then shortly after finding it my phone went missing)

And i had this issue where I was hyperfixiated on my breathing right after I had covid and it went on for 8 months and it came back again but I was afraid I’d not get enough sleep to the point I don’t sleep at all (usually happens when I have to sleep early for school).

I couldn’t get therapy due to my parents saying that it is expensive and another reason is that one of them said that it’s nonsensical and impossible to think that I have a disorder and that it’s just me growing up and school stress.

Hi @wholeheartedhibiscus713,

It sounds like you’ve been carrying a lot and it’s clear you genuinely want to understand yourself better and do better yeah?

The issues you shared sounds cumulative over time and these aren’t just “growing up” or school stress. They suggest something worth exploring properly with a professional. I can’t tell you what’s underlying it and I wouldn’t want to guess, but what I can say is that your instinct to seek help is a good one and not something to dismiss.
