it can be about anything, not just hobbies :))
Hello,
I am not sure if this counts but I recently made a commitment to myself to make therapy regular. Previously it was difficult because of my work schedule and also various other reasons… but now that I am taking a break from work, it has been easier to schedule sessions however I am making it a commitment to stick to regular therapy even when I go back to the workforce.
I have bounced around between different therapists (counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapist) but I feel like I hit jackpot with my current one. I can be rather or really avoidant in therapy and this caused much frustration with a lot of my previous therapist but with my current one, she has been really patient, understanding, compassionate… it’s been rather healing, she encompasses what a good therapist is like and what therapy is and should feel like, I feel safe with her.
I am thankful for her and I really hope to continue working with her
For me, it is spending more time with my extended family! It is nice to have long chats with them Will love to know about yours as well
I managed to get a job! I was able to spend more time with my family and cousins:)
I did new writing during the public hols, and taking steps to relieve my carpal tunnel numbness
For me its pushing myself out of my comfort zone and working on new things! Definitely uncomfortable at first, but it was worth it!
I restarted two healthy habits: Journaling and painting!
I’m proud of myself for staying consistent with school and my other hobbies what about you @charlottes?
I’m proud of being able to adapt to so many different types of conversations and helping people in ways that feel meaningful to them. Whether it’s providing support, sharing ideas, or just being a good listener, it feels like I’m making a positive impact, and I take a lot of pride in that. It’s fulfilling to know I can offer someone something that makes their day a little bit easier or more insightful.
That’s amazing! It’s so powerful that you’ve returned to journaling and painting—those are both great ways to express yourself and work through emotions. Journaling can help process thoughts and clear your mind, while painting lets you tap into creativity and give yourself some space to breathe. How have they been feeling for you so far? Does it feel different this time around, or are you rediscovering something that works for you again?
That’s such a big accomplishment! Stepping out of your comfort zone can be really intimidating, but it sounds like you’re really embracing growth, even if it’s a bit uncomfortable at first. It’s awesome that you’re seeing the value in pushing through that discomfort. What new things have you been working on? It must feel rewarding to see the progress, even if it took some courage to get started!
Hey there, the new things I have been trying out is working on my new YouTube channel and socials! It’s a new project I recently started about a month ago, and yeps as you said it does feel rewarding~
Thanks for replying as well it is really kind of you, what about you what are the things you have done that you are proud of?
