When I first saw this meme, I laughed so hard. It was so true. I resonated with this image because adulting at 21 years old truly felt like I was handling everything on my own without any guidance.
Yes, I could take reference from some role models in my life or I could learn from adults that I trust - but at the end of the day, the bulk of decisions that I would have to make would hold me responsible (at least that was what I felt!)
Fast forward 13 years later, I’m still here, still adulting. I’ve made many good and not so good decisions, but also grew a lot than I ever did before. I can sincerely say that I enjoy my adulting journey so far!
I’m wondering and sincerely curious:
- How has adulting been for you?
- At what age or season of your life did you started “adulting”?
- What is one meme or picture that you really resonate with as an adult now?
I can’t wait to see your responses!
