Most of reddit is run and/or mod by gov haters

Seems like its more and more evident to me that reddit is pretty much a place for people to vent their hate toward their gov and influence others to do the same.

And many mods running the subs are just childish gov haters that care less about the facts, they just hate the government regardless of which country it is.

I created 2 throwaway accounts and seem like both are ban or reported because i dont agree with all this childish gov haters.

It doesn’t seems like a good place to hang out to add unneeded stress in my already stressful life dealing with idiots.

I dont really support SG gov due to my life experiences, that dont make me senselessly hate them. Facts is sometimes facts, there is always things that they did right and also things they did wrong. And compare to ruiling party and the opposition. As much as i want to support the opposition, they dont seems to be anything better, in fact they are worse.

I will vote for whoever does their job right, not because which side they are on. But seems like most people are to engrossed on which side they are support. Maybe should say the soccer team mentality.

Hey @user1446, I’m sorry to hear about your previous experience on Reddit. It must be extremely draining to go through the stress of being on the receiving end of others venting their hate towards the government. I empathise with the frustration that arises when others seem to be against us. I’m glad to hear that you’ve decided that interacting with some of the users on Reddit may not be healthy for you, and that you’ve decided to take a step back and prioritise your own mental health. You’re doing well!

Hi @user1446 it’s so true that it’s important to look at what was done right and what was done wrong regardless of the party! And to say that regardless of any bad experiences relating to the government is really challenging yet important.

I’m sorry you had to go through the experience of being banned. Hopefully we can shift away from soccer team mentality and grow towards more open discussion in Singapore over time  Change does take a while after all

Did the mods give a reason for the ban? I hear for some subreddits it may be possible to ask the mod
