Anyone w pimple outbreak problems due to anxiety disorder or depression? If u solved it, what did u do?
Hey @user1138
I haven’t experienced this personally, but I do know some people who went through breakouts that seemed tied to stress \ anxiety
Skincare wise - it helped to consult a dermatologist: got better advice and treatments that were right for your skin…like gentle products or acne treatments that matched what they were dealing with. I think that’s made a big difference
food wise- noticed that certain foods (like dairy or sugary snacks) made their skin worse. so it helped to pay attention and avoid things our body seemed more sensitive to.
and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) : which is super practical and focused on managing anxiety, helped a lot.
Hope you will feel better
Hmm… sleep is super important — try to get around 7.5 to 9 hours each night and avoid greasy food if you can. Eating healthy helps too, like more fruits and veggies
they’re good for your skin. For skincare, I think simple is better. Just use a gentle cleanser and a serum if you’re still young. Too many products can actually make it worse. If you really want to moisturise, go for a serum-type one instead of cream, especially if your pores are small — cream might clog them.
I usually wash my face in the morning and again when I shower after school or work. And pimple patches are super useful! They stop you from touching your face and help the spot heal faster. But yeah, I think the main thing is to be gentle with your skin and take care of your body too
