I am stressed about finals and everything

I understand how you feel, i have definitely been in your shoes before (and may also be in the future). Your feelings are valid, and it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed during such a busy time. You are likely stressed because you want to do well in your exams, and a little bit of stress can actually boost your performance!
The key here is to not let stress get out of control. Try breaking your study material into smaller, manageable chunks, and take regular breaks to rest and recharge. This can make exam periods feel less daunting. I also encourage you to eating well (so your mind gets the fuel it needs to maintain focus), and sleep well (as sleeping helps to consolidate memory).
Exam periods are stressful for everyone, believe in yourself and that your efforts will not go to waste!
yeah I can totally understand the exam stress. curious tho, what’s the “everything” that’s weighing on you right now? is it just school or are other things piling on too? sometimes writing it out helps you see what actually needs urgent energy and what can wait. maybe pick just one thing today to focus on.
I feel you! As a student myself, I understand that the tests may feel overwhelming. What really helped me get through the exam season was talking to my close friends and family when I feel stressed. I also will break my revisions into a smaller sessions, such as two hours in the afteenoon and another two hours at night. All the best op, I am rooting for you!
Hi! Thanks so much for responding. It sounds like you are having a really hard time and it definitely hasn’t been easy for you. As a current student myself, studies aren’t always easy and sometimes it feels like we aren’t acknowledged for our efforts, esp if our grades aren’t what we thought. However, I just wanna encourage you that u can do it!! It may be difficult now but it will surely get better!

hello! It is finals season right now and I can relate to how you are feeling. As much as studying is important, your mental + physical health are equally/even more important! Do not neglect your health and remember to check in on your personal well-being too. Remember to give yourself sufficient breaks as you work through this stressful season. You can try to free up a small portion of your time to have some de-stressing activities if possible. All the best :))

Hi @user6934 finals is definitely a stressful period for us students and I can relate to you too :') but do remember that grades are not everything and they do not define your worth! Have you tried doing things that help reduce your stress? For me, sometimes when I am overwhelmed with academics I take a short break to reward myself and keep me motivated. A little stress can motivate you to do better and study harder but too much will make it feel like everything is overwhelming so do be kind to yourself in this stressful period and all the best! As a student, i feel you too. Finals is definitely a stressful period for us students as everything piles up all at once. However, as much as studying is important to us students, our own mental and physical well being is as important as well! You can try out some coping strategies like breathing exercises to cope with the stress.
