Is this normal.? im starting to hate my friendds

hi idk if this is normal but im starting to hate my friends. like i just get so irritaated by them just for like taalking too loudly or super small things. theyre not bad people and i feel like im the problem. i isolate myself from them because theyre really getting on my nerves. especially that one time where my friends were talking to each other and i was really annoyed coz they were laughing too loud and kinda without me… that sounds really petty i know but i seriously think its my problem.:cockroach: :cockroach:

Hey @estestest,

Thank you for being so honest and open. I hear that now, you feel like there are some changes in how you react to your friends when you’re with them, and you feel that the issue lies with you. I’m curious, did something happen with them recently that made you change how you see them?

You also mentioned that you felt annoyed when they seemed to laugh without you. If you’re comfortable sharing, may I ask does this happen often? Do you feel a sense of belonging when you’re with them?

Its normal, means you’ve matured at a diff rate and everyone’s personalities are bound to be different. Why would u blame yrself for them leaving u out? Ever thought of joining other frens?

uhhhh nothing really did happen between us.. i think idk why but ive been starting to be more nd more down thats why. also at the start of the year we wr really united but now theyre becoming closer and closer to each other and i feel like leftover food

idrh any other friends i can think of coz everyb has their own friend group and it wld be weird for me to suddenly join. for eg the smart kids im not smart enough to join hem and the popular girls im not popular and i dont really have their sense of humour ykwim?

Hey @estestest,

Thank you for sharing this. It certainly isn’t easy to go through this, especially if it concerns people that are close to you. Do you think you would be open to talking to your friends about it? They may not know that you feel left out and how you feel inside.

Additionally, you mentioned that you’re feeling more down. If you’re comfortable sharing, could I clarify, is it because of what’s happening with your friends? Or is there other things that’s happening that’s making you feel down?

I don’t think I’d be comfortable talking to them coz it’ll awkward and I know one of them like laughs everything off the other one will js start giving advice out of nowhere or keep trying to switch the topic so uhhhhh. idk why I’m feeling down there’s no reason I js feel down

Hey @estestest,

Thanks for sharing your concerns. It’s alright if you don’t feel comfortable with talking to them. Maybe you could try joining interest groups for your hobbies if you would like. If not, it’s alright taking time to yourself to process what you’re going through, or talking to a trusted adult. But if you feel that the low mood is starting to affect other areas of your life, like your daily activities, you could consider reaching out to a school counsellor.

And know we’re here for you and you can always reach out on this platform

okay thnksss  ill try to get help from counsellors..
