Hi @user788,

I’m truly sorry to hear that you’re going through such a challenging and stressful time. It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed when stressors from various aspects of life pile up. I can imagine you might be wondering about your mental health, and whether you’re having depression or anxiety. While I can’t assess through this platform, I would like to direct you to this resource that is helpful for assessing your mental health – please click here:

I also want to affirm you of your efforts for reaching out to us on this platform. You made the right move, and I commend you for your bravery.

I’ll share with you some strategies to help you navigate your feelings for the timebeing:

1. Self-Reflection and Mindfulness:
a. Do take some time to self-reflect; you can do this by simply sitting quietly to assess your thoughts and emotions, or you can do some journaling.
b. Mindfulness techniques like deep breathing exercises (Mental Support & Wellbeing Resources in Singapore to Improve Your Mental Health | mindline.sg) or meditation (Mental Support & Wellbeing Resources in Singapore to Improve Your Mental Health | mindline.sg) can really help too.

2. Build on your support network
a. Reach out to your friends, family, or a teachers about your issues. Talking about your concerns and feelings with someone you trust can provide emotional relief and valuable perspectives!

3. Professional Evaluation
a. You can also consider seeking professional help. A mental health professional, such as a therapist or counselor, can provide a formal assessment of any mental health issues and provide you with a diagnosis if necessary. They will be able to differentiate between situational stress and signs of depression or anxiety, and they can give strategies too to help you cope with them.

Last but not least, please know that you don’t have to go through this alone, and there is support available to help you navigate these challenges. I hope you’ll continue to reach out for support, and feel free to chat again if you’re having any difficulties.

Please take good care of yourself!

Yes absolutely! You can try either one of these options:

  1. CPH Online - https://www.cphonlinecounselling.sg/hc/en-us

  2. CHAT by IMH - https://www.imh.com.sg/CHAT/Pages/default.aspx

  3. QuickChat by ec2 - https://fycs.org/ec2-sg/

You can choose one of these options and have a chat with a professional! Let us know how it goes for you?
