I have recently found a hobby that includes arranging and ironing beads. If I’m right it is called perler beads /fuse beads or also hama beads. It’s pretty interesting to have so many names just for this little activity. I found it pretty interesting and relaxing except for the part where I accidentally broke the boards used for the arranging.
ooh I’m done with the designs but I haven’t decided on what I should make them into. I already bought some of the magnetic sheets so I’m currently considering to make the smaller pieces into fridge magnets. But I still haven’t thought about what to do with the bigger pieces since there’s quite a clutter in my house and I don’t really want to put them as decorations on the wall. But I really feel the anxiety when I can’t make it exactly perfect or how I wanted it to be.
Well, I guess they are much more cheaper now. How I wish they could be even cheaper.
I also have a similar problem with not having enough space to keep them but I also want to admire them when I am free to enjoy my hard work spent on these.
Great idea, I might also give out mine if people want it😜 or maybe just to my friends! Maybe I can find an event to sell them and donate some of the money to the charity.
Well….you will be limiting yourself if you want to make something to giveaway. But you will find joy in mass production.
Still….some special needs shelters are letting their residents make this to sale.
As for giving it away, you can email those places like children cancer society or other VWOs for sick children and see if anyone is willing to accept them. Some hospitals might take also for their sick young patients.
But pls make into something usable, maybe like a keychain or magnets.
I make this and and cat one, very large, use 4 large square boards. And this is the reason behind my huge spend on fused beads, because there is just not enough of the colour i needed in one mix bag. And last time one large bag of hama beads is like $27 dollars for 3000pcs.
