Going on dates can lead to endless possibilities but sometimes we stress ourselves out before the date when we are trying the decide the location of the date. Anyone has had a similar feeling?
Recently I tried to do an idea I encountered a while ago and my date surprisingly went well! I was at Jurong East Bus Interchange and decided to do a spin the wheel to take a random bus service before spinning the wheel again to alight at a random number of stops. I eventually alighted the bus with my date right in front of a cozy cafe at Bukit Batok. Ordered some tea (not Teh peng as my username states tho) and it was served to us looking so atas. There was a few food options too like pasta, western and various desserts!
Would you do such a cafe hopping experience? If you try it out, let me know of your experience!

it’s okay to run out of topics to talk about during a date, if yall are mutually interested with each other.. A common topic will eventually resurface
You can always elaborate about a topic you spoke about earlier too!

i would definitely try such experience!! but usually i just search for cafes on tiktok, instagram or lemon8, if not google maps works too
noticed that alot of singaporean cafes mostly serve western/japanese food at a reeeeaaaally expensive price, but comes with the atas food presentation (as you said), and a great ambience/or in gen z terms, VIBES

now ppl not very spontaneous also so normal to just do the usual Google search before you go to a place… but yea western and Japanese has been the trend with cafes I guess because it takes lesser preparation for these cafes to serve but the ambience really nice hehe

wah this is quite a cool idea to use to switch up the dating routine!! i might try this one of these days with my partner. but we’re not the biggest cafe eaters HAHAH so maybe our version would be “hawker hopping” hehe

actually hawker hopping sounds good too, you get more options and as said earlier, you’re not stuck with just Japanese and western options the cafes usually churn out!
convo card games are very good, you can literally lead to many topics at the end of the date
