I feel like there is so many things that I have to do - whether at home or at work - and I feel so tired all the time. I tried scheduling my tasks, but so often I don’t get to follow the schedule that I did up because it got hijack by other things that needed to be done asap. Or half the time I don’t follow it because I would choose to rest (sometimes for an extended time). I feel like I’m losing control of my time
@mintot Sorry to hear that, yea sometimes life can be tiring. I used to have anemia that was why low energy most of the time. Try to see a doc
i get what you mean, it can frustrating when the things we plan don’t unfold the way we want it to. especially during busy periods where we already have tons of work and suddenly there more work popping up out of no where. while its good to plan ahead and schedule your time, it’s also normal for things to come up unexpectedly and disrupt your schedule. and thats okay. it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong, life is just unpredictable like that. but in times like this i think its important to remember that you deserve to rest. taking care of yourself is part of managing time well, so i hope you’ll give yourself some grace and allow yourself to rest when you need to
Nothing wrong w resting if u r tired
Hi OP,
I feel you. I’ve been advised to try and schedule the things I want to do in a day, but then I wouldn’t follow that schedule and just spend the day on my phone haha.
I’m not sure why your body is tired all the time; it could be burnout from tasks in your life, or you need to exercise in order to invigorate your body.
And there’s no shame in wanting to rest your body. Rest is part of the productive process It took me probably a few years after graduation to start getting back into my hobbies.
I relate, especially in a job that has a lot of ad-hoc tasks that can come in and disrupt my plan or schedule. Even when I want to get back to the tasks on my list, I might not because I’m already tired (performing those ad-hoc tasks take energy too!) I end up feeling like I’m slower and forgetting some of my items on my to-do list.
What tends to happen for you in that moment of trying to start up your tasks?
