Hi everyone, I thought of expressing my plight in the form of a poem inspired by the poem " If you give a mom a muffin" found online.
If I get an hour to do my work, I would get my laptop out to study.
I would open my laptop just to find out that it is almost dead from use during the previous study session.
I would quickly connect the charger to the laptop and let it charge and think of another way to study. (This is cos I can’t access the power from my study table)
I would remember that I had written some notes for the particular subject, and will set out to find them.
As soon as I find them, I would sit down at the table to read through them, just when I would remember that I forgot to bring my earpiece (to listen to music while I’m studying).
I’ll find them, and play some music just to hear a notification from a friend.
Resisting the urge to reply my friend, I’ll focus on whatever subject I want to study.
As I study, I would get thirsty and leave my table to get a cup of water.
I would quickly come back to my table just as my father would want to use my study table for his online meeting. I would vacate the table , and set out to the living room to study, just as my mom watches the TV.
Despite that, I would continue studying just to remember that my laptop would have almost gotten fully charged.
Hmm… my laptop usually gets charged in an hour and ,uh, there goes my one hour.
