I’m not too sure if there is something wrong with me. I just feel so so tired of life and everything, to the point that there are thoughts of why i cant just end my life.
There is this tightness in my chest and its so uncomfortable and sometimes I just cry to relieve this feeling. Sometimes I’m okay but sometimes I’m not. I’m not sure what is happening to me.
Dear @user1733
Thank you for reaching out and sharing how you’re feeling right now. I’m glad that you’re reaching out and expressing how you’re feeling. It sounds like you’re carrying a heavy burden, and it’s really important to take your feelings seriously. Please know that you’re not alone in feeling this way, even though it might feel isolating right now. Your emotions are valid, and it’s okay to not be okay.
The tightness in your chest and the crying you mentioned can be signs that you’re experiencing a lot of emotional and mental stress, which can feel overwhelming. Life can sometimes become so heavy, and it’s understandable that you might feel tired of it all. However, it’s important to reach out for support, whether it’s talking to a trusted friend, family member, or a professional like a therapist or counsellor. You don’t have to go through this alone, and there are people who care about you and can help guide you through this dark time.
I know it might not feel like it now, but things can get better. Taking small steps, like trying to ground yourself when you feel overwhelmed (like focusing on your breath or using a calming technique), can sometimes help ease that tightness. It can also be helpful to write down what you’re feeling, which might provide some clarity and help you express your emotions in a way that feels safe.
Please, if you’re feeling like you’re in immediate danger, don’t hesitate to reach out to a helpline (e.g. SOS at 1800 221 4444) or a mental health professional right away. Your life is deeply valuable, and there are people who truly care about you and want to support you. It’s okay to ask for help. You matter, and your feelings matter.
If you’re able to, please consider reaching out to a therapist or counsellor. Sometimes having a safe space to talk about your emotions and what’s going on in your life can make a big difference. You don’t have to face this alone.
