A different life choice

During different stage of life, you made a certain choice which lead to where you are now.

Have you ever wonder what your life would be right now if you’ve made a different choice at that point of time?

Example, going to a different school/work. Dating a different person. Migrating to a different country. Staying single instead of getting married. Getting married instead of staying single. Having kids. Etc.

Hello, this is an interesting question! I understand we occasionally look back on what “it might have been”, but I believe thay looking forward also helps us to grow from the life choices we have already made.

dangg what a thought-provoking question! honestly yeah, i’ve def thought about this before (esp whenever i come across videos / articles about the butterfly effect). our lives are made up of millions of choices, from tiny ones eg. what shirt should i wear today to huge ones eg. deciding to study overseas :upside_down_face: .

i find it interesting to imagine how my life might have turned out had i made different choices, or to think about all the alternate versions of myself living out those “what ifs”.

but ultimately, i’ve come to feel p at peace with how my life has unfolded. i strongly believe that every experience, good or bad, teaches us sth, and that over time, all those lessons shape the person we become. for me, there’s not much point in obsessing over what could’ve been, but it’s still an interesting thought experiment to explore – thanks for sharing this prompt :”)
