Hi @wongjt_42,

Thank you for sharing how you’ve been feeling. It sounds like you’ve been carrying a lot of exhaustion and fatigue with you every day, and I can understand why you’d want to know if what you’re experiencing might be burnout.

Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged stress, often related to work, school, or other responsibilities. It can make you feel drained, overwhelmed, and unable to meet constant demands. As the stress continues, you begin to lose interest and motivation, which can make it hard to keep going.

From what you’ve described—feeling drained every single day and persistently tired—it’s possible that you’re experiencing some symptoms of burnout. However, it’s also important to consider other factors that might be contributing to how you feel, like your daily routine, stress levels, sleep patterns, and overall health.

Here are a few questions that might help you reflect on your situation:

  • Have you been feeling more stressed or overwhelmed than usual? Stress is often a major contributor to burnout.
  • Are you getting enough rest and taking breaks? Sometimes, when we’re pushing ourselves too hard without enough time to recover, it can lead to burnout.
  • Do you feel a lack of motivation or interest in things you used to enjoy? This can be a sign of emotional burnout.

If you’re starting to feel like this is more than just being tired, it might be helpful to take some time to rest and recharge. Small changes, like making sure you’re getting enough sleep, taking breaks, and finding time to do things you enjoy, can make a big difference.

If the feelings of exhaustion continue, or if you’re finding it hard to manage, consider reaching out to a professional who can help you explore what’s going on and guide you toward the best ways to take care of yourself.

Remember, it’s okay to acknowledge when you’re feeling burnt out, and it’s important to take steps to care for your well-being. You deserve to feel better, and there are ways to get through this. Take care, and please don’t hesitate to reach out again if you need more support.
