Dream aspirations and careers

I feel that every single person at one point in their life has a dream job or a dream they want to achieve be it being a scientist or in my case I wanted to be a zookeeper

But as time goes on people seem to lose the spark deeming their dream careers as unattainable or ‘in another life’ but we only have this life there’s no other life for us, I just wonder sometimes when the doubt eats at me will I ever achieve what I dreamt of will I ever truly succeed. It’s demoralising listening and seeing others talk about how they gave up their dreams for family, the fact that the pays can’t sustain them or the fact that others have looked down at their goals.

However I believe that as long as I put my mind to it and keep working and walking forward one day maybe not easily but one day I will be able to work with animals or even own a sanctuary for animals because I think that if you had a dream or a calling it was there for a reason you were given that dream because you can achieve it. I just hope that no one gives up before they even try

thank you for this inspiring message :heart_hands: I agree that we should diligent work for our dreams.

Its sad to say that dream jobs not always pays well.

In fact for me, i not only work my dream job for free, i still have to spend money to “work” ,

And what i did is not even recognised widely, and i have to slowly push inch by inch to look for opportunities. Of over 70 emails i sent up to various org only 5 have gotten back to me and 3 have accept me

And being unemployed its is stressful to think about needing to take course from overseas for then needing qualifications. Its really where can i even find that money to study?

But still….no regrets in being a animal assisted activities volunteers.
