How to feel happy

Hi! I don’t remember the last time I felt happy or relaxed. My life has been just filled with work and nothing else. I feel a sense of losing out and not getting much time with my loved ones and friends. What can I do?

Try creating micro-moments of connection? Short but meaningful interactions with people you care about. A quick coffee, a text message, or even a shared meme can help you feel less disconnected. Also, do you think your work pace is sustainable? If not, could you try setting one small boundary to reclaim some personal time?

heyy i feel like that a lot too! i like to go to the beach and watch the waves to destress haha… is there anything you like to do or anywhere you like to go?

Hello @Hello11 !

Feeling like life is simply a haze of work with no true pleasure or relaxation in between is really difficult. It’s natural for you to feel the weight of missing out on things and being cut off from the ones who are most important to you.

Being aware of this and desiring a change is already a significant first step. Work isn’t enough for you. Try setting out brief, deliberate times for yourself and your loved ones, even if your life seems full. It might be as simple as sending a message to reconnect or taking a little stroll or coffee conversation. It doesn’t need to be large in order to have significance.
Additionally, don’t be scared to establish limits at work, even if they are little at first. Your happiness is important, and you are more than your work. Perhaps begin by doing something simple this week that is just for you, something that lightens your mood even a bit.

You are not trapped in this situation, nor are you alone. Give yourself some time to figure things out

That possibility ends once you’ve started working, it seems. Till then, it’s trudging along until the end and we’re damned.
