How to recover from mental illness?

Hi. I am wondering how to recover from mental illness. Is there anything I can do on a daily basis or any exercises I can do? ^^ what are the various treatments or things one can do for being healed from mental illness??

Depends on what u have. My anxiety disorder n depression has recovered to dormant now. It will relaspe for a while n might be even longer if my life sucks but its fine. What i did was cardio, try to eat nutritionally, socialise, find meaning, passion n purpose n keep doing that. I can hike w u on weekends
