I feel so unhappy

Im nursing student and now im in year3sem1, actually i taking scholarship but i fail one module when i year2sem2 and need to repeat the module means i need to extend my graduation and now i very stress for that…

Hi OP, I understand you are stressed about retaking a module, and your feelings are completely valid. I understand that y3 is where it gets very hectic and it may feel overwhelming to retake a module on top of your other commitments. I think it will be useful to set aside some time to revise the materials. You got this OP

Hey @user0986. Thank you for sharing this. I hear you. That sounds really tough, especially with the weight of a scholarship and the pressure to meet expectations, and then needing to extend graduation. It’s understandable to feel disappointed, stressed and unhappy right now.

But just because you’re taking longer doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re still going, still choosing to continue even when it’s hard, and that is something to be proud of. And failing one module doesn’t define your ability, worth or your future.

I just want to pause and ask you something gently:

What made you choose nursing in the first place?

Because nursing is such a noble, selfless and compassionate path. It’s not easy because it asks for strength, patience, and a lot of heart. And yet, you chose it. That says something powerful about you.

This one setback doesn’t erase your why. It also doesn’t cancel out the impact you’re going to make in someone’s life one day. And taking a bit more time to get there doesn’t make you less capable. It might just make you more resilient :sunflower:

I’m really sorry you’re feeling so stressed right now. It must be incredibly heavy to deal with the pressure of your scholarship and having to repeat a module and it’s okay to feel upset and overwhelmed. But please remember, this doesn’t take away from how far you’ve come or how hard you’ve worked. Failing one module doesn’t mean you’ve failed as a person, it just means you’re human.

Extending your graduation doesn’t erase your efforts or your potential. Sometimes we all need a little more time, and that’s completely okay. You’re still on your path, and you’re still capable of becoming the amazing nurse you’ve worked so hard to be. Please be gentle with yourself. You deserve kindness and support, especially from yourself. You’re not alone, and you’re doing the best you can, and that’s enough:)

That sounds really tough and stressful for you and especially in year 3 too but I hope you know that you doing nursing is already not easy and super admirable I always feel that nurses are very underappreciated its really tough work so please be kind to yourself too okays and I know you’ll do amazing!! Jiayous and you got this okays please don’t let your failures define you because you are definitely worth more than all of that!! And just wanted to say thank you for being a kind soul wanting to help others too :>

Hi @user0986
I know this must be stressful, especially with the scholarship…but needing to repeat a module doesn’t mean you’ve failed- it just means the journey is a bit longer :folded_hands: you are still on your way to becoming a great nurse!

Be kind to yourself, you’re doing your best
