So due to mental health, i am facing challenges and fears to remember things, to complete task, to work under stress and my nervous system i can feel is breaking down. So with that, i am unable to perform in work and even my boss also say my perf is no good and got warned for the last time abt my performance (altho he praised my character is good).
My direct supervisor is so unhappy and so tired with me that i make a mistake again and she ask me to pack bag and zao, she pretty double standard btw ( MC all also cannot take, and i feel i no growth much under her also cuz while she got guidance, i am unable to absorb). She is a good employee but a just pass leader. So she ask me or warn me if i make the same mistake, pack bag and leave. Being a depressed person, i am super disappointed in myself as well so i am ranting here and like what should i do? How to survive work with mental health
You’re dealing with so much pressure right now, and it makes sense that your mind and body feel overwhelmed. Struggling with memory, focus, and stress doesn’t mean you’re weak or lazy, it means your mental health is asking for support. It’s incredibly hard to function well at work when you’re already fighting an internal battle every day.
Your supervisor’s reaction must have hurt a lot, especially when you’re already trying your best while feeling unwell. But their frustration doesn’t define your worth or your potential. You deserve proper guidance, understanding, and a safe environment to grow. Right now, the most important thing is taking care of yourself. If you can, consider speaking to a doctor or mental health professional, not just for support, but also because documentation (like medical memos or assessments) can help you request reasonable adjustments at work or take leave to stabilise your health.
You’re not alone in this. Many people struggle silently at work while dealing with depression or anxiety, and reaching out for help can be the first step toward getting better. Be gentle with yourself, and take one small step at a time:)
I understand that you have been stressed at work, and I can see that you really care about ensuring that you did your best in your work. I believe by taking short walks in the park during your breaks/weekends can help you feel more refreshed, rooting for you
