hello, what are your opinions on a partner not putting in enough effort in a relationship?
It depends on what kind of effort you are looking for. There could be instances where a partner is really not putting enough effort or it could be that the partner is putting effort in the wrong direction.
Not sure if you have heard of the 5 love languages but that is a good book to read. Perhaps it will also help you identify which love language suits you best - and thereafter guide your partner to put in effort in the love language that you desire.

I agree with @Jaws about the 5 love languages. Everyone has different way of expressing their love for others. In relationship, both parties should also let the other know of their expectations of them. But if the partner doesn’t seem to be putting enough effort in the relationship, I suggest you to talk to them about it. Hope this helps!
