Nature walks

Good Wednesday morning! :waving_hand:

It’s a lovely time to enjoy nature walks, and here the benefits:

Nature walks offer significant mental health benefits, including stress reduction, improved mood, and better attention and concentration.

Spending time in nature has been linked to lower anxiety and depression levels, and can also boost overall well-being and self-esteem.

So yup, where do you guys walk at? Whether it’s anywhere nature-ral or urban, go share then!

you’re so right, i always feel a lot more grounded after taking a walk  ! my favourite place would prob be bishan-amk park bc it’s super scenic and close to my house. it also has a designated dog run area (which i sometimes bring my dog to), and a swing set that i never fail to use! love having picnics there too heheh

I love nature walks too! I usually go with a calming playlist or a podcast in my ears, and just let my feet lead the way. It’s such a nice feeling to end up in places I didn’t plan :headphone: :hyacinth:

Omg yes I totally agree—nature walks really help clear the mind and just make you feel more grounded!
I like Kranji Wetlands Reserve too, it’s so peaceful! Also love Yuan Nan Garden in NTU, such a hidden gem.
And honestly? Bugis Street and walking along Marina Bay or Clarke Quay at night might not be nature, but the vibes?? Immaculate. The lights, the breeze, the energy—it just hits different after a long day!

Hello, thanks for sharing! I love going on hikes at MacRitchie in the morning! Parks near my house is also such a convenient gateaway to destress!

  • Central Catchment Nature Reserve
  • Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
  • Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
  • Labrador Nature Reserve
  • Southern Ridges
