What are some signs you've observed in yourself when you're experiencing stress?! 😫

“Ohhh why didn’t I realise that before?” “Ohhh right, that was happening, but dang I didn’t think much of it…”

How often do we overlook some things that are happening right before us or even to us, and yet we never even realise it’s an issue at all, until it’s maybe a bit too late?

For us to learn how to make our lives better and ourselves healthier, we will first need to identify what some telltale signs are that indicates we are not doing that well at that moment?

Let’s share here and learn from one another: what are some signs you’ve observed in yourself when you’re experiencing stress? :confounded:

Hello! I think my tell tale sign that I’m stressed is when I realised that I’m just unexplainably exhausted. I could get 9 hours of sleep, but still feel just like I don’t wanna do anything and am so so tired, both physically and emotionally.

I binge eat and then hate myself for it.

Hello! When I’m stressed, I tend to pluck my hair, and my skin condition worsens too. When I spot this signs, I make it a point to set aside time for a break

I saw a post somewhere saying “If you don’t choose to rest your body, your body will make that decision for you” (by falling sick), and it’s very true for me! Whenever I I’m overloaded with schoolwork or other commitments, I can feel my systems subtly start shutting down, like a headache, feeling more fatigued in the day, or feeling like I’m in a slump. I make sure to take it easy that day and rest before it gets worse. Once I identified this trigger, I have been able to take better care of my mental and physical health
