I just feel like everything is very overwhelming, I don’t have anyone that truly understands me and I feel very lonely because of it. I have always been seen as weird by other people and it just feels so devastating going through this alone
Life feels very pointless and unhappy for me, i have never once felt truly happy in my life and i don’t think i have any hope for a better future. I wish that I could be happy like everyone else and i wish people could understand what I am going through.
Find a local support group for adhd n schizo? I know of one for schizo but u jave to ask ur psych for referral. I’ll usually find ppl who went thru depression or anxiety disorder
I also have depression and I find it hard to find people i could relate to, i have asked for support groups and so far the one i have been in wasn’t that much of a help so was wondering if there was anyone who could relate to my situation( depression, schizo or adhd)
Thank you for reaching out. It sounds like you’re carrying a lot, and I want you to know that you’re not alone in this, even if it feels that way. It can be incredibly painful to feel like no one truly understands you, especially when you already feel different from others. But that doesn’t mean you don’t belong or that you’re not worthy of deep connection and understanding.
Living with depression, ADHD and schizophrenia can make things even more overwhelming because your mind is constantly processing the world in ways that others might not fully grasp. But that uniqueness—while it can feel isolating—also makes you who you are, and that is something valuable.
Please know that your feelings are real and valid. It’s okay to struggle, and it’s okay to feel frustrated or exhausted by it all. You deserve kindness, patience, and people who see you for who you truly are. Even if it seems like those people are hard to find right now, they do exist, and you are worthy of love and connection.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out for support, whether it’s a trusted friend, a therapist, or a support group. For support groups, do explore which one you are most comfortable with. You deserve to be heard and supported. We are here to support you in your journey, too.
