Feeling tired of everything

I have been feeling tired of everything, feel as if there is no meaning to life. There is nothing that I want to do, nothing that I want, nothing at all. Just feel tired to do everything and i want to end everything. I have been told that my life is good, i have a job, a partner, good relationship with my family. But i just dont know why I have been feeling like this. I feel bad towards the people around me, because of my negativity and how my thoughts and how I feel will hurt their feelings. I went on a break recently hoping it will make me feel better, it did but there were still pockets of time where i felt theres really nothing to life.. i am just 1 in the many here, will it really matter? I want to try and feel better..should i be going for professional help and take medications?

hello! i’m super sorry to hear that you’re feeling this bad right now, but thank you for reaching out and opening up to us!!

if u ever start feeling like you might end your life or might act on these thoughts, please reach out to someone immediately, okay?

about professional help and medication, i agree, they can really help loads!! counselling/therapy gives you space to understand what’s making you feel empty and teaches ways to cope. medication can help by making u feel better so that therapy is more effective. im not a professional, but u can talk to a doctor or psychiatrist who can help decide what’s best.

in the meantime, don’t worry!! you’re not a burden at all!! pain is real and it matters, and most importantly, you don’t have to do this alone <3

Dear @user8426

Thank you for seeking support here during this trying period in your life where you are feeling like you don’t matter nor count. I can sense that what you are going through has been difficult.

Please know that many among us may find what you are struggling with familiar. It resonates as sometimes we feel low without ever understanding why. You reaching out here is a good first step in your journey to better manage what you are going through and eventually live better.

I am glad you took a recent break to recharge. I think that was a good act of self care. I hear it did help but there were still instances when you felt low.

Yes I believe it would be helpful to speak to a counsellor soon to address your feelings of hopelessness and lack of interest/ loss of meaning. By taking this first step, you can slowly explore what has been affecting you, and unearth unhelpful thinking patterns that have contributed to the current low period you are experiencing. Slowly but surely, with consistent effort, I believe you can make progress to get yourself out of this current low period by exploring what is meaningful to you, rediscover your purpose and what you need. Next, by taking actions and replacing current thoughts with more helpful thoughts, you can certainly move towards achieving more fulfilment.

Do reach out to your loved ones for support as well as to the caring community here whenever needed. You are not alone. :yellow_heart:
