I don’t feel I can be happy again

It just feel like everything sucks, nothing will ever be better and I’m just so tired of being disappointed time and time again, and there’s no longer any point.

Hi @user1595 ,

You must feel so overwhelmed with how your life is going right now and I hear you. Something that really helped me when I personally went through a tough struggle last year (which I hope may help you too!) was to remember that when you’ve been done for so long, the only way — is up. You have made it through all the hardship that you have thus far which showcases your resilience! I do sincerely hope that you may continue to push through whatever it is that you’re currently going through and wishing you better days ahead.

Hi there,

It sounds like you’ve been carrying a lot, and it’s understandable to feel worn out when it seems like life keeps throwing disappointment your way.

When everything seems overwhelming, it can be beneficial to begin small. Think of one tiny thing that’s brought you even the faintest sense of relief or comfort before—maybe it’s listening to a favourite song, stepping outside for fresh air, or talking to someone who cares about you. These small moments can serve as stepping stones towards feeling a bit lighter.

Additionally, I want you to understand that emotions, despite the apparent lack of purpose at the moment, are cyclical in nature. This heaviness you’re feeling doesn’t have to stay forever. You’ve made it this far, and that shows strength, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

If it feels right, consider sharing how you’re feeling with someone you trust—a friend, a family member, or even a professional. Often, simply receiving attention can significantly improve your situation. And if you ever want to share more here, I’m here to listen.

You’ve got more courage than you think, and even on the hardest days, you’re doing your best. That’s something to be proud of.

Hi @user1595,

I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It’s understandable to feel overwhelmed and exhausted when faced with constant disappointment. Life can throw so many challenges our way, and it can feel incredibly heavy at times.

It’s okay to acknowledge those feelings; they’re real and valid. If you want to talk more about what you’re going through, I’m here to listen. Remember, you don’t have to go through this alone.

Thank you, I truly appreciate your kind words in times of need.

I have never felt it safe or appropriate to voice my feelings and overtime, it feels like I don’t really matter to anyone no matter how hard I try.

Sometimes i feel like how this person says too

Hey @Fenrispro care to talk about it?

Im an idealist, i alw strive to improve myself. Like when i wasn able to find a fulltime job before i went to jobfairs, Wda and then i got a freelance Wfh job - little stress. During the covid lockdown. How the person said RL so much disappointm = its true for me coz both parents often arguing. The scientific term wld be Bpd, the general: emo immature-- old fogey worse. If u see my prev posts ive elaborated on why.
Tod im having rare gd mood so i dw to go into that. Basically he only know how to critic like what mum cook is forever not nice, then wun shut up > unpleasant vibes..
Then wayang SO frigging good to others :face_with_steam_from_nose: damn old alr and now is 7 mth i cant wait for him to vanish forever

The few times we had fam outings tog, they wld both ruin the calmness by some ■■■■ happening. And im artiste, i wanto be writer but the old alw say ■■■■ like- Noo cannot earn money, cant eat. I dun care Since they dw to believe in me they have NO right to suppress nor boss me

But at least mum just sometimes trigg, she wil still be sorry. And buy me things. Horrid man got the gall to raise his voice to command me :angry: to do his way. since he want to break the bond, fine
