May Weekly Challenge #2: Set boundaries ⭕

Do you find it difficult to tell a good friend that you just need time and space sometimes? Or just want to tell your partner you want more “me-time”? :thought_balloon:

Then it’s time to try setting your boundaries! :relieved:

Boundaries are rules or limits that we create to honor and protect our psychological and physical needs. As such, it is an important component of self-care. Yet, setting boundaries can feel intimidating and difficult, especially when we are new to it.

:point_right: Try setting some boundaries this week! Let’s learn and encourage each other by sharing your top 2 with us below

Here are some examples to help us get started:

  • Friendship edition :two_women_holding_hands:: distancing myself from toxic friendships or conversations

  • Relationship edition :revolving_hearts:: agreeing to give each other space for “me-time” after 11pm

  • Family edition :family_man_woman_girl:: Requesting that your sibling reduce unwanted actions (e.g., cursing, hitting, annoying)
