Boundaries are rules or limits that we create to honor and protect our psychological and physical needs. As such, it is an important component of self-care. Yet, setting boundaries can feel intimidating and difficult, especially when we are new to it.

Here are some examples to help us get started:

: distancing myself from toxic friendships or conversations

: agreeing to give each other space for “me-time” after 11pm

: Requesting that your sibling reduce unwanted actions (e.g., cursing, hitting, annoying)
