What made you smile recently? 😊

A simple small gratitude exercise!

Give yourself this time and space now, look within yourself and reflect on the past few weeks of your life, are there any moments that you recall bringing a smile to your face?

There are probably more than 1, even uncountable maybe, will you pick one memory and share that as a reply under this topic?

This is an excellent topic to reflect. Honestly, I would not have remembered when I smiled if this question was not asked. The most recent smile I did was to fill up the awkwardness. I was practicing on interview with someone and didn’t know how to answer the question. So I smiled at him for a few seconds before answering. Smiling sometimes give me more time to think.

I’m a clerk in my second year of NS, so one thing which made me smile recently is that a junior serviceman told me he’s grateful for my work and he looks up to me not just for my dedicated work ethic, but my kind personality which I often overlook :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

When I was practicing my basic counselling skills (poly module) with my peers who are not in the same course as me. I messed up really bad for majority of the practice but they were really nice about it and they even told me they were impressed with what I did. HAHA it was such a fun experience and everyone was really encouraging. :star_struck:

Recently went for a sports competition, and for the first time my category went from the usual 7 athletes to a 22-athlete category event. It gave me the opportunity to witness the sportsmanship between everyone and the support and camaraderie amongst competitors. It was a sweet reminder that despite being competitors, were all working towards the same goals and the same aspirations, and there’s nothing stopping us from journeying together :heartbeat:

Recently I made a trip down with my family, extend family to Gardens by the Bay (it was a family outing). Visited the tulipmaina, the new Northern lights experience, Garden Rapshody and OCBC skywalk at Gardens by the Bay!
Here are some photos from the recent trip!

I smile a lot. To diffuse awkwardness, to appear more friendly and just smile because why not? But the most recent time that I smiled because I truly feel like it is when I talk with my grandma. She’s currently in india, a long distance from me but everytime i talk with her I immediately have a smile on my face.
