Anger and suicide

I have been suicidal for nearly a year and I got into a fight with my friends and they don’t wanna talk to me anymore. Is there anyway I can get help?

Hi @affectionateseahorse9493,

I’m really sorry you’ve been carrying this for so long. Feeling suicidal for nearly a year is incredibly heavy, and on top of that, losing connection with your friends can make everything feel even more isolating. You don’t have to go through this alone, even if it feels that way in this moment. Reaching out like this already shows a part of you still wants support and relief.

If you can, consider talking to someone who is trained to support you through moments like this. Confidential helplines in Singapore like Samaritans of Singapore (1767) or National Mindline (1771) are available and won’t judge you. If things feel urgent or overwhelming, you can go to the nearest A&E or call 995.

If calling feels hard, these hotlines also offer WhatsApp text-based services. I can also stay here with you to talk through what’s been going on or help you think about small next steps.

Here when you’re ready.
