hi friends, it feels rather messy in my head right now and i feel like there’s so much i have to complete despite it not being that much. does that make sense? how do you like prepare to start your day mentally and efficiently? like how do you make yourself feel better and motivated especially in the mornings?
hey @aisyahcheese, i really feel you. i hate mornings… i’m super not a morning person. i did survive full time jobs that needed me to start work at 8am or even 7am and i think what helped me get through was sleeping earlier the night before to ensure i get enough rest
i think something that brightens my day a bit is getting breakfast otw to work because it’s like a little treat for myself. sometimes it also means getting my favourite teh order. i also like to use perfume/fragrance that i like, makes me feel and smell “fresh”
i don’t have too much advice because man i hate mornings so much. i always drag my feet. my brain functions better after 10am…

hey there! I I totally feel you… I have a rbf in the morning (unintentional though!)
Anyway what I do usually is also just get a nice cup of teh, then listen to some morning music from youtube or spotify and then start by clearing emails or plan my day haha
I always start small and feel like Marie Kondo for clearing things so it keeps me going throughout the day as the intensity increases!

I am also not a morning person. However, I have to report to work very early. I always start my day on positive note and a chant.
`It is going to be a great day!’
Then I will start to think about breakfast and my plan for the day.
Even if my day does not end well… I will try to find the positivity in the negativity. Happy thoughts always and the silver lining.
I think one good way is to prepare the night before. Eg pack your bags, iron your clothes, make breakfast (if possible). So when you wake up, you’re ready to go immediately haha
Can relate, i sleep early but still natural timing for me to wake is 9am after Soo hard
