It has been 2 years since I left my previous company. Had been doing job search and upskilling but everything just went back to square one as all things failed. Any advise on what to do? Had been focusing myself to stay motivated but the fire seem to slowly distinguish. Currently running out of ideas on how to carry myself up

Hey @user6717 I hear you and I understand how demoralising that can be, especially since you have been trying for 2 years. Although easier said than done, I want to encourage you to never give up no matter how hard it gets. Remember that you do have the skills necessary to get hired – your previous job, and your current pursuit of upskilling trainings – maybe the right match for a job hasn’t been found yet. In the mean time, I found this post on reddit (Reddit - The heart of the internet) that may be helpful, where some users recommended updating your resume to match the trends of the current job market. I’m glad you wrote in to explore ways to address the challenging job situation you are facing. I fully get how demoralised and unmotivated you are currently feeling despite efforts to secure a job. How you are feeling is understandable and many of us can fully relate to the feelings you have described.
To your credit, I wish to highlight that you have a lot of determination and tenacity; for example you have been making efforts to skill up, attending courses to learn and grow. That shows a lot about your strengths.
I gently encourage you to keep going taking one tiny step at a time. Start off with temp or part time roles to rebuild confidence and grow your experience.
