Unexplainable feelings

Is it lwk normal to just have this aching feeling of wanting comfort? Like some sort of loneliness clawing at you but you can’t rlly cry about it because you already did so your just pulling your shirt and clutching yourself cuz it doesn’t seem like there’s an outlet for you to get these emotions out. Are these like…some weird attention-seeking teenager hormones? Does it lwk just pass?:sob:

Hi @relaxingpumpkin7875. Thank you for taking the time to share what’s been in your mind. That’s not weird teenager hormones or attention-seeking . What you’re describing sounds like a really real and painful kind of emotional exhaustion. That specific feeling of wanting comfort but having no outlet for it, where you’ve already cried and there’s nothing left but this restless ache… that’s genuinely hard to sit with. It does pass, but I don’t want to just say “yes it passes” in a way that dismisses what you’re feeling right now, because right now it’s real and it matters.

That clawing loneliness feeling is something a lot of people experience, and it often shows up when there’s something deeper that hasn’t quite been processed yet, not because you’re broken or dramatic, but because emotions don’t always come out in one clean wave. Sometimes they linger and need more than one outlet.

A few things that sometimes help when you’re in that stuck, aching place. Not to fix it, but just to move through it a little: physical things like the clutching you’re already doing, wrapping yourself in something warm, or even just changing your environment for a bit. Sometimes the body needs to feel held when the emotions are too big to name.
