🌱 Coping with Comparisons (aka that sneaky little thief of joy)

Let’s be real, comparison is EVERYWHERE.

Scrolling through socials :right_arrow: “Why don’t I have that?”
Hearing about someone else’s success :right_arrow: “Am I falling behind?”
Even looking in the mirror sometimes :right_arrow: “Why can’t I be like…?”

And suddenly, boom :collision:. Our self-worth feels a little smaller.

But here’s the truth:
:glowing_star: Comparison only show one chapter of someone else’s story, not the whole book.
:glowing_star: Your timeline isn’t broken. You’re just on your own path, your own pace, and it’s not supposed to look like theirs.
:glowing_star: And what you see in others is often just a mirror of something you already value in yourself.

So, how we cope when comparison shows up? Here are some playful re-frames that you could try out:

:rainbow: Inspiration > Insecurity: Instead of “ugh, why not me?” try “What about them inspires me?”

:mending_heart: Kindness > Competition: Would you ever tell your best friend or someone who love, “You’re behind and you’re not enough?” Nope. So, why say it to yourself?

:tada: Celebration > Self-doubt: List 3 things that are uniquely yours. Your wins (big and small). Your joys (big and small). Your quirks. They’re yours and yours only. No one else can copy-past you.

:ocean: Progress > Perfection: Sometimes comparison just hits hard, and that’s perfectly fine and human. Let yourself feel, then let it move you forward, not down you.

What’s one gentle reminder you give yourself when comparison feels heavy?

Remember: your pace is your power, your story is yours alone. And honestly, you’re doing so much better than you give yourself credit for :sunflower:
