Does feeling well physically and mentally always go hand in hand? 🤝

You’re moving, breathing, stretching, flowing, and your body’s feeling great. But are there times that even when you’re physically active and doing “all the right things”, your mind still feel a little (or a lot) off? :face_with_spiral_eyes:

It’s not something we talk about often, but mental and physical health may sometimes go out-of-sync. We can be doing well on the surface yet struggling quietly in the background.

Now the question of the day! :thought_balloon:
Does your physical and mental health feel aligned?

  • All the time!
  • Most of the time~
  • Sometimes yes, sometimes no
  • Rarely, they’re totally different

Now, reply below and share your stories of how your physical health influence your mental health! Or vice versa!

  • Have there been times where your body felt fine, but your mind was struggling — or the other way around?
  • What’s one thing that helps you feel strong both physically and mentally?

No pressure to dig too deep! Even a short reply could make someone else feel less alone, and maybe spark positive change!

In my personal experience, physical and mental health usually goes hand in hand.

For instance, when i am stressed from work i feel physically tired. It is also the case in the other way around, as any sort of physical pain or ailments lead to downfall of my mental health.

Hi yeah very fun day

I think once you find ways to cope when you’re feeling stressed etc it will be easier to cope with

I am always happy go lucky

Very nice I like it keep up the good work!

i agree! i usually go for a swim session or pilates class to decompress from work

When I do engage in exercise, it does translate to improving my mental health.

Sometimes when I feel tired, I don’t feel good.

I think physical wellness aligns with mental health because it makes me feel better

physical and mental wellness is so important to me

I always feel better after a run when I’m stressed

yes it is important
..

It is a good reminder for me to manage my stress

Important for me to manage my stress

It does, but not most of the time because im always physically tired but sometimes i just need the energy and i do have alot of energy

when you are struggling, you just have to find ways to destress, distract from reality temporarily to breathe.

Exercise = mental well being
