I’ve been feeling extremely disgusted at myself and have the urge to make myself vomit everything out after eating and my eating habits have changed. I used to eat relatively healthy and control my diet. But it has changed in the past few months and I’ve been eating more and unhealthy. I’ve been having the urge to eat even when I’m not hungry and I tend to overeat even knowing that I’m full. Is this normal
Hi @user1743 ,
It sounds like you’re struggling with your relationship to food and your body, which can be incredibly difficult to navigate. Have you visited a doctor to check on your physical well being?
From what you’ve shared, it seems like you’re experiencing a lot of inner conflict between how you used to care for yourself and how you’re feeling now. The urge to vomit after eating reflects how much distress you’re feeling about food and your body image. You mentioned feeling disgusted with yourself, and this is an emotional weight that is clearly affecting your physical and mental well-being; it also appears to be negatively impacting your well-being. It’s hard to break free from patterns like these, especially when they’ve been a way to deal with feelings of shame, guilt, or even a lack of control in other parts of your life.
You said that your eating habits have changed; care to tell us what happened in the past few months?
