studied really hard but still failing in the end. i feel so lost and left behind. everything is so fast paced and i feel like i’m the only one who couldn’t catch up. i feel so embarrassed, but i’m really really trying.
Hi @thrivingmonstera6513! thank you for reaching out on this platform. What you shared sounds really exhausting…putting in real effort and not seeing the results that you want is one of the hardest feelings to sit with, and being in a fast-paced environment probably added another layer of stress too ![]()
You are not alone in this even if it feels this way right now. Everyone have different pace in learning and struggling does not mean you are not capable or that you won’t get there. It just means that perhaps, you needed more support or the current approach might not be the most suitable one for you yet, and that is worth figuring out instead of taking that as a verdict on your ability.
It might be helpful to speak to a teacher, tutor or maybe someone you know who have gone through similar situation. Often time having an outside perspective can help to spot what’s missing faster than you can when you’re in the thick of it. They can guide you afterwards and explore together what works for you as well.
I hear you on trying your best, and it really takes a lot of resilience to keep going when things are not working as expected. The embarrassment you are mentioned is understandable, however, I hope you know that trying hard is genuinely not something to be ashamed of.
Thanks for reaching out. What you’re going through sounds incredibly draining. Pouring your energy into something and not getting the results you want is one of the toughest setbacks to experience, and being in a fast-paced environment likely only compounds that pressure.
Please know you aren’t alone in this, even if it feels isolated right now. Everyone learns at a different pace; struggling right now doesn’t mean you lack capability or won’t eventually succeed. It simply suggests you might need extra support or a different approach that better fits your learning style. It is okay to keep figuring that out, as that is a constructive next step. As mentioned by @responsiblecantaloupe, you may reach out to a teacher, tutor or a trusted adult for guidance on how to create a studying strategy that works for you.
