My room is a mess, and I feel super unmotivated to clean it…
Hey,
It’s clear that the air has gone out of you. When the mind’s crowded, the room just shows it back, louder.
Have you noticed that your room has been in a mess for quite a while? On the other hand, your body could well be saying, “i’m tired”
Perhaps when you find a chance, start with something tiny, clear a small square of your desk, or pick up just the clothes you see first.
Motivation usually comes after movement, not before it. Even a five-minute start can tilt the energy a bit. Maybe for now, the mess just means you’ve been working non-stop.
Hey @user7096,
Totally get that.
When everything feels heavy, even tidying up can seem like a mountain. Maybe just start with one tiny thing, like clearing a corner of your desk or folding a few clothes, and let that be enough for now.
It doesn’t have to be perfect or finished, just a small win to remind yourself you’re moving. Even a little progress is worth noticing and being proud of. You deserve a space that feels kind to you, and you don’t have to get there all at once.
In the meantime, take care! ![]()
