lately the same words have been swirling around in my mind: “i wanna die” or like “what if i js ended it all” never have i once acted out on these thoughts but i hv previously made multiple plans but i never got the courage to go through w it. whenever i think of plans i have in the near future (like going out/tuition etc etc) i always feel a sense of dread and the impulse to cut/die come along with it. i live on the thirteenth floor of my condo, and my window can open. multiple times i have opened that window and contemplated jumping. no courage, as ive said before. in addition i struggle to fall asleep, get out of bed, focus on tasks, experience extreme fatigue during the day and have terrible mood swings. i dont think its normal but im too afraid of getting help. so im here, on this platform, trying to get answers. pls help me.
Hey there @syeiryn ! I saw that you’ve posted here a few times before, and want to applaud the courage that you have in reaching out!
It seems like you’ve been dealing with these suicidal thoughts and feelings for a while, I’m curious whether there’s been anything that makes it difficult to reach out to other people for help? You mentioned before that your true friends are concerned, and that you’ve been cutting as well. I’m curious what you would need in order to feel safe enough to reach out to a school teacher or counsellor and share these feelings with them.

Hi @syeiryn,
I can see that you are really struggling with this situation. You’ve shared
with me that you have thoughts about killing/harming yourself. At the same time, I
acknowledge the braveness in sharing these thoughts with me.
I would encourage you to approach SOS or IMH as soon as possible, as they can work through with you on these issues you are facing. To make sure you’re kept safe until you manage to get the necessary help, please approach a trusted friend/family
member to highlight your struggles and to accompany you in the meantime.
If possible, do also remove any sharp objects in your surroundings and make sure
that they are kept out of sight.
