I wonder if anyone else feeling moody and down today? Not sure is due to the weather. With tempreture below 30c, my body seems to be shutting itself down and not wanting to do anything. And i spend most of my time staring at my laptop screen feeling lost.
It is a very cool-ish day today, but I hear you’re feeling like the weather is related to your mood? It sounds really tiring to go through a day of work like that.
You’re not alone in the weather affecting your mood. I’m wondering, does this happen often? That the weather affects your mood. And how are you on a sunny day too? I guess I’m trying to understand about how much the weather affects you and how long it can go on for — our monsoon seasons can be a while and it sounds lonely to struggle with this.
Personally I feel a little moody as well on a gloomy day. For me, I try to pay more attention to what I need on those days, and intentionally do something that makes me happy — even when I don’t feel like it. It feels dreary before, but at the end of the day when I look back, I am grateful for that one thing that looked up for me. I wonder if this is something you’d be keen to try? What little happy thing might be easy and accessible for you to cheer you up today?
Dear @user1446,
Your words speak volumes — not only of pain but of perseverance. Despite being let down repeatedly, you are still here.
You deserve to be seen by everyone, who does not dismiss your scars, silence your anger, or pathologise your grief. You don’t need to be “fixed.” You need to be heard, supported, and walked with — at your pace.
You make sense. Your pain is real. And if you want to find new paths — not back into the same system, but maybe forward into something gentler, more humane, and safer. We hear you.

i remember when i was young i follow a friend to see a free TCM and the petitioner mention that i am a person that cannot survive if its too cold or too hot. At first i wonder what does that means since during my work i often go under the rain, and hot sun.
Still…i guess i pretty much know now. If its too cold my body will shut down and go into "hibernate " mode. If its too hot i loose my temper. If its too windy i get frustrated. So…at home i on my air con 24/7 at 23 to 24c when sleeping and 27c when i am awake. I cant stand the fan blowing at mean and my hair keep flying.
If i go to classes, if the classroom is too cold i will start to dose off especially after lunch, so normally i avoid lunch which also seems to missed the opportunity to socialise with the rest of my coursemates. And many of them see me as out of reach to them.
anyway…today is a pretty bad day for me a well, since i am a very overwhelmed by a buyer trying to scam, and the platform supports his claim and they were asking me to provide packing evidence, i was like WTH…which seller is so free to take a video of them packing, imagine if the seller is packing 20 or more orders. And also i notice my oversight, which i send him 10 boxes when he only orders 6 and yet he just took a photo of the outer box and starts a dispute saying he only received 1. So…i end up lost 9 boxes to him that is worth a total of $30. And i spend 2 hrs dazing and burning away wondering how i mistaken 6 pcs for 9 pcs and somemore i throw in 1 free out of kindness.
Still… the weather not only affect mood it also affect food choice as well. recently my body is craving for comfort food like soup, milo or something wet, hot and hearty to try getting my body temp up. If its too hot, i will always drown myself in sodas and cold water, sometimes drink about 4 to 6 cans of coke zero throughout the day.
